Roles and Capabilities
A custom role makes it easy to restrict access to your location management when using third-party plugins to extend custom roles and capabilities for your users.

Search Form Settings
The search form can be customized to show or hide a country pulldown, city, state, and tag search fields. Choose miles or kilometers. Customize the list of radii.

Shortcode Settings
Change the way Store Locator Plus works on a per-page basis.   You can set page-specific tag filters with the “tags_for_pulldown” and “only_with_tag” settings.  Customize the look of each page with the “theme” attribute, allowing you to have a unique look for each categorized map page.

Starting Image
Set a starting image to be used for the initial page load in place of a map or list of locations.  Displays a static image in place of the map when the page first comes up by entering the URL in “Starting Image”. An image overlay will be placed on top of the map. No results are shown and the search form is displayed. When a search is performed the image overlay is hidden and the standard map will display locations according to the search mode process described below.

Tag Your Locations
Use the simple tagging system to quickly and easily categorize your locations. Enter multiple tags on each location, options to search by tags, option to display tag pull down, option to show only results that match a specific tag allowing pages to be keyed to stores only tagged with a specific value.

User Interface Tweaks (CSS)
Use one of our built-in CSS style sheets to change the look of the results or use the Custom CSS entry field on the admin panel to create your own CSS rules.

Custom CSS 
The General Settings page of Store Locator Plus now allows for custom CSS to be entered WITHOUT having to edit the Store Locator Plus CSS files or create a theme CSS file.    This works much like the “custom css” entries on many premium themes such as those built on the Woo Framework.
