Cyber Sprocket Labs is a versatile company with a vast knowledge of technology and programming, as well as experience in many different areas of business. The following is a list of some of our past and current projects. The variety of tasks accomplished should give you an idea of the breadth and depth of service our company is capable of providing.
Disaster Recovery & Action
When the Cyber Sprocket team was hired as CTOs for a local Charleston, SC company, we prepared for the worst to happen, but never expected it. This CTO position entailed revamping the IT infrastructure, hiring new staff for expansion, and creating and implementing plans for disaster recovery.
Just two days after a discussion regarding disaster recovery, a fire burned through the client’s building, destroying their IT room. The team was on site within two hours of the start of the fire. After assessing the damage, we put the disaster recovery plan into action. We coordinated with and directed employees and vendors and had a fully-functional IT room within 72 hours of the fire. Cyber Sprocket was successful in fully relocating all company services within 2 months of the fire.
Cyber Sprocket’s business and technology savvy are what helped to rebuild and manage the company within such a short time.
Military Logistics & Planning
Cyber Sprocket has been working as a subcontractor on a military technology project for 3 years. In keeping up with the best practices for privacy and confidentiality, we have built a new logistics system with remote, domestic, and mission critical 24/7 software. The
platform is designed to transfer equipment and military assets. Cyber Sprocket has been involved with the project every step of the way, often making critical and immediate changes upon first request.
Data Acquisition & Translation
Cyber Sprocket Labs has implemented clean slate software and software as a service benefiting institutions, credit agencies, and a variety of accounting departments at businesses to transfer and share data.
We developed a web based system which allows companies with outstanding debt to upload files to turn key systems, allowing for the automatic translation of proprietary data into a format read by collection agencies. The administrative control panel defines incoming and outgoing file formats and is completely autonomous. It is a completely hands-off system built from scratch.
Credit & Background System
One of Cyber Sprocket’s more complicated projects was creating a system which aggregates personal information about people from various credit sources, criminal background reports, public records, etc., and provides an interface to search through that information based on criteria like Social Security Number or address. The client provides this technology to their clients, who in turn use it to make decisions about their own customers. For instance, one of their clients uses it to determine the risk of giving someone a loan.
The system works by speaking the different languages of many different information sources. All of that data is in very different formats, and we had to teach the system how to collect all of it and translate it into a common format that can be easily searched through.
Custom CMS & Shopping Cart
Cyber Sprocket developed a custom content management system and shopping cart for a local electronic device company. The system connects directly to FedEx and US postal service shipping systems, allows clients to keep track of their order and shipments, and also allows the business to manage their own content and clients without the need for a full-time IT staff. The client and one of their products was highlighted in the January 2010 issue of Popular Science magazine.
The variety and difficulty of these projects are what makes Cyber Sprocket Labs a unique and qualified software company. If you have a similar project, or something completely new that you’d like us to assist you with, contact us today!
