Modern Business Technology Solutions

We don’t do websites.  Consumers are moving away from being tethered to their desktops.  As phones become more powerful and televisions become more connection, you customers are moving away from the old fashioned keyboard and monitor.

We do comprehensive business solutions that make the most of technology.  Today that means creating advanced applications not only for the web and desktop. It must include both mobile devices and social networks.   If you are still thinking in terms of having that next “killer web app”, you are missing the next wave of innovation.

Our employees bring specialized skills to the table, enabling us to create best-of-breed software solutions across the board, not just fancy websites.

We Build Relationships

Cyber Sprocket has been developing applications for small businesses and government agencies since 2005. Commitment to quality, timely delivery, and customer satisfaction ensure our clients keep coming back.  The formula works.  90% of our clients have been with us well beyond the initial contract engagement.  Most are entering their 3rd year or more of our relationship.

If you are looking for custom software solutions, white sheet design, COTS mash-ups, or multi-platform solutions, Cyber Sprocket can get the job done. We never outsource and always deliver.

Technology Enthusiasts

There are a lot of web service companies out there, and some of them do an okay job. What really sets Cyber Sprocket apart from the rest is our motivation. We really like doing this stuff. We’re not just out to make a buck, and we’re not just giving you the answer you think you want to hear. We do things the right way, and we tell it like it is. Programming, database management, server administration – this is all complicated stuff. What you really need is technical people that will give it to you straight, and that’s what we’re all about.

Elite Experts

Our team is made up of hand-picked professionals that spend their lunches arguing about the most efficient way to represent hierarchical datasets and know more acronyms than you can shake a stick at. Yeah – they’re elite. We don’t just pay the bills by coding, we breathe in hexadecimal and dream in recursive procedures. We laugh at SQL injection loopholes in other people’s applications. If you don’t understand half of what the previous sentences mean, then you’re starting to get the picture. What you’ve got to ask yourself at this point is the following: Do you care enough about business technology to work with elite experts?

Rave Reviews

We’ve been at this a long time.   We’ve got skills.   But we also have another thing that is just as invaluable, a good reputation.  No matter where or how we connect with our clients, we always want them to walk away smiling.  We do whatever it takes to make them happy.  To earn that perfect 5-of-5 star rating no matter where we go.  Here are some examples from places that keep track of our “client happiness rating” for us.  Third party sources that you know & trust like eBay and Guru:

History

Cyber Sprocket Labs was formed in 2006 as part of a merger between Charleston Software Associates,  Lance Cleveland’s company, and I Make Widgets founded by Craig Coffman.  In essence, Cyber Sprocket as a concept existed for years before it was officially incorporated in the State of South Carolina.  After collaborating on a project together and finding they shared many of the same technical and business philosophies, Lance and Craig saw the opportunity to create something unique and successful and immediately went to work to pursue it.

Interest in the new project was high from the beginning, and Cyber Sprocket was kick-started by both partners’ strong reputations locally and abroad. The pipeline quickly filled and with it the company grew from a home-office web shop to a full-fledged small business. Cyber Sprocket continues through its second year in operation stronger and more efficient than ever. Lance and Craig’s goal of creating a software business that delivers beyond expectations is constantly reinforced by our satisfied and longstanding clients.

During the summer of 2009, Lance Cleveland purchased the company and began efforts to focus on enterprise and corporate level consults while developing an internal line of software products.  The first products have started to come out of Cyber Sprocket’s labs and more are on the way.   Craig continues to develop custom websites and web applications for a variety of clients.  Both Lance and Craig collaborate on various projects and will continue to work together as their separate companies thrive.
